Hello!
I'm Gayle and I am an independent celebrant.
I write and officiate beautiful, bespoke ceremonies for funerals, memorials and celebrations of life.
​I will help you say goodbye to your loved one with dignity and respect and will endeavour to capture their personality through the stories that you share with me.
I am based on the Wirral and work throughout Merseyside, Cheshire and the North West.
About me

A little bit about me...
I am a singer, musician, event planner, mother, widow, obsessive reader of trashy romance novels and murder mysteries, and lover of a good sunset. Originally from Warrington, I migrated to the USA where I lived with my husband and children for 19 years. I moved to West Kirby in 2022 shortly after losing my husband to cancer, and I feel like I have found home.
I am also a celebrant! I chose this path because I love people. I love their stories, their struggles, their successes. I love to listen and learn, and to hear all of the little things that make a person unique and special.
I understand the complex emotional needs that come with navigating and marking these major life events, and I will hold your hand along this journey and guide you through to the other side so you can begin to grieve.

My Services
I will work with you to create the send off that feels right for you and your family. Here are some of the more common choices
Traditional Funerals
Funerals held at a crematorium or burial ground/cemetery. Usually arranged through a funeral director

Ashes
Ashes scattering or interment. This can be a full service following a direct cremation or a simple blessing as ashes are dispersed or laid to rest

Celebration of Life
This can happen before or after death. A life can be celebrated and and a person memorialised at any time
​
Memorial Services
This can be held anywhere that is legal and can include any elements that you wish to have. There are few restrictions on how you can memorialise your loved one
